Sashiko · Kyoto
Over 30 years mastering the art of sashiko. Master Tanaka's private studio in Kyoto has never been open to tourists — until Dai brought his first group in 2019.

Yamamoto-sensei
Indigo Dyeing · Tokushima
A fifth-generation indigo dyer in Tokushima. Her family has been dyeing with natural indigo since the Edo period. Specialises in shibori and aizome techniques.

Kogin Embroidery · Tsugaru
One of the few remaining practitioners of traditional Tsugaru kogin embroidery. Travels from northern Aomori prefecture to share this geometric art with our guests.
